Sunanda Rajendran

Sunanda Rajendran is an Executive Director with Indo-Arab Chamber of Commerce & Industries since 1983. She is also the Secretary General of Indo-African Chamber of Commerce & Industries since 1992. She is highly known in the African and Arab world for her cross border transactions expertise across different industries.

Sunanda is highly passionate about the IACCI which she has groomed from being a small entity to one of India’s biggest business forums in the league of the big ones viz FICCI. She is known for her high levels of energy, speed and passion which she demonstrates with amazing consistency. In addition to the chamber, she is also Director - Eram Hitech India P. Ltd, Chairperson - Mandvi Credit Co-operative Society Ltd. Chairperson - Mother Care Society Ltd., Member - Board of Medical Tourism in Collaboration with Govt. of Maharashtra & Advisor to many Multi-National Companies overseas, Editor - African Review & Arab - e -Hind publications.

She has lead successful business delegations to, U.A.E, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Yemen, Sudan, Egypt, South Sudan, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Angola, Morocco, Tunisia, and Mauritius.

Sunanda is an Independent Director at Edulight and t she is guiding the team to foray the international business and closely working with them to provide resources to their member fraternity which ranges from growing SMEs to large enterprises.

At SearchLight she is mentoring the leadership team to set up their International business operations in the Middle East and African markets. Her wide knowledge of these markets helps SearchLight to charter a path with a flatter learning curve.
