Kamal Malhotra

Kamal Malhotra is an Independent Director on the board of SearchLight. At SearchLight he brings in wealth of experience in defining roles for different team members and also involved in evaluation of senior professionals to check placement worthiness and DNA match, before they interact with the client. His astute ability to decode mind mapping and interpret the resource mental thought process helps our clients have a deeper view of the senior candidates.

Kamal is popularly known as the Father of Assessment / Certification industry through his previous avatar as the Asia PAC - Director of Prometric wherein he was responsible for all assessments of Microsoft, CISCO, SUN, REDHAT, GRE, GMAT to name a few. He is in his early fifties and has spent glorious 32 years in the industry through different roles in different companies. His other stints included, New Horizons, Onward Novell, and Hinditron . Besides coaching SearchLight members, he is involved in training Uniight members to reach the next level and optimize their careers.

Academically he has completed B.Sc (Chemistry), B.A (Psychology), MA (International History) subsequent to which he enrolled for his MBA at IIFT. His expertise includes Launching & Franchising International brands, Assessments & Certification. Sales force Specialist & Consultant, Sales Performance Specialist.
